Hey everyone!
I started blogging a few years ago but quickly got sidetracked with work and multiple moves. It seems like things have settled down and I thought it would be interesting to start blogging again.
Originally, I was using the Blogger platform since it was free with Google domains; however, I found the platform tedious to use and so I've decided to go with a different method. From now on this blog will be built using the Zola static site generator. I find being able write my posts in markdown very convenient and, having some experience with tera templates, I find it easy to configure the website to my liking. I don't think I will be transferring any of my old blogs as there were only a few and I don't really find them important enough to move to this blog. They were also posted to my medium and can still be found there. I probably won't be posting to medium in the future so it will remain as an archive of those old posts.
